I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas morning. There's something very magical about that day, and this year was no different.
Thanks to Brooke, our wonderful Sable Point mama, we were able to celebrate it with 3 healthy, bouncing babies! I am very happy to announce this, since Brooke has recently been notorious for single litters. So it sure is a Christmas surprise to get that, times three!
These babies are giving me a run for my money, as usual, though. I'm not sure what's with the odd, nearly-impossible color combinations I end up with. BUT, here's another one. I was expecting sable points from this cross, so naturally, they'd look like solid blues. Which is genetically impossible. But, you know, that means it's fair game here. Hah! A friend mentioned that they may be seal point though, so that may explain their darker color. We'll see what happens! But I'm pretty set on it breaking the bounds of common genetics, as usual.
Stay warm and have fun on the rest of your Christmas break!
